Breach, the:   a chasm of chaos and corruption that separates the human world and Gondai;
Catastrophe, the:   the calamitous event of uncontrolled sorcery that devastated the world of Gondai;
cavet:   (CAH vet) thick, strong, sweet tea drunk by the Djiid
ce’na davonet:   (say NAH dah voe NAY) "all honor to you" (Dar'Nethi) formal greeting for royalty;
cennethar :   (SEN eth are) a substance that removes muscle control
commard :   (coe MAHRD) a plaza or marketplace
darupe :   (dah ROOP) a plum-like fruit;
detan detu:   (day TAHN day TWO) "attend my command" (Dar'Nethi) the command to trigger the knowledge of the Dulce' madrisse';
detan eto:   (day TAHN eh TOE) "I obey your command" (Dar'Nethi); the formal response of a madrisse' after completing the request of his madrisson;

madrisson:   (mah dris OWN) the Dar'Nethi partner who is linked to a Dulce' by the rite of the madris;
manglyth:   (MANG glyth) a potion that allows examination of a subject’s mind, compelling them to answer truthfully any question put to them; the deep red liquid of the core potion can burn the membranes of mouth and throat, and damage the stomach lining unless suspended in its thick, sweet gel-like coating;

sheriff:   a local law enforcement official charged with the special duty to hunt down and capture sorcerers;
